ETF Stock Calculator ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website etfstockcalculator.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

We are committed to keeping your information minimal. This tool does not require an account, does not store your comparison results, and does not sell personal data.

IP addresses. When you run a comparison or request an AI interpretation, your IP address is temporarily held in server memory to enforce rate limits (preventing abuse). It is not logged to a database, not tied to your identity, and is discarded automatically when the server process resets.

Theme preference.If you switch between dark and light mode, your preference is saved to your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

No account data. We do not offer accounts, logins, or profiles. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other personally identifying information.

Google AdSense.We display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show you personalized ads based on your browsing history. Google's data practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.

Yahoo Finance.Historical price data is fetched server-side from Yahoo Finance's API. Your ticker inputs are sent to Yahoo Finance as part of this request. Yahoo Finance's privacy policy applies to data they receive.

Anthropic (Claude AI).When AI interpretation is enabled, your simulation results (ticker symbols, return figures, and simulation parameters) are sent to Anthropic's API to generate a plain-English summary. No personal information is included. Anthropic's data practices are governed by the Anthropic Privacy Policy.

We do not set cookies ourselves. Google AdSense sets cookies for advertising purposes as described above. Your theme preference is stored in browser localStorage, not a cookie.

This Site contains affiliate links to third-party brokerage services. If you click an affiliate link and open an account, we may receive a commission at no cost to you. We only promote services we believe are relevant and useful to our audience. Affiliate relationships do not influence our tool's calculations or data.

We do not store personal data in a database. IP addresses used for rate limiting exist only in server memory and are not persisted. Server logs (if any) generated by the hosting provider (Vercel) are subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.

This Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
